EASTER SERVICES OPEN TO ALL CHRIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH

This year’s Easter services are as follows:
Palm Sunday April 14, 2019 – 9:00am
Maundy Thursday April 18, 2019 – 5:00am, light supper / 6:00pm service
Easter Sunday April 21, 2019 – 9:00am
Christ Church believes there is a place for you at our Lord’s Table. All baptized persons, without exception, are invited to receive the nourishing grace of Christ’s Body and Blood. Those not receiving Communion may come forward for a blessing (signified by crossing one’s arms). If you have not been baptized and are interested in learning more about it, please speak with our Priest, Father William McGinty.
The Episcopal church is part of the Anglican Communion and is comprised of 109 dioceses in 16 nations. Established shortly after the American Revolution, the Episcopal Church has its roots in the Anglican Church, which is known as the Church of England and had a strong following in colonial America. But when the colonies won their independence, the majority of America’s Anglican clergy refused to swear its required allegiance to the British monarch. As a result, the Episcopal Church was formed.
