Memorial benefit event to honor Jack Mehaffey at Rock Mountain Sporting Clays

A memorial benefit event will be held to honor Jack Mehaffey on August 2 at in Springville, PA. As he was in his skiing life, Jack was a dedicated shotgun sportsman and instructor, passionate about the sport and teaching, especially young students. This adult-oriented event, for experienced, novice and non-shooters alike, will raise funds for the local Scholastic Clays Target Program at the Factoryville Sportsmen’s Club. Shooting at Rock Mountain begins at 10:30, a catered BBQ lunch at 1:00 and a ceremony to award the Jack Mehaffey Trophy. A portion of the fees will be dedicated to the Scholastic Program.
Registration is required for all shooters and non-shooters. All non-experienced attendees need to bring eye and ear protection in order to observe or try their hand at shooting (with guidance of course!).
