Buddhist monk in NEPA on Wed Nov 5th

November 5, 2014 @ 5:30 pm

A Buddhist monk will be visiting the Unitarian Universalist Congregation on Wednesday, November 5th to introduce Buddhist techniques that will help us calm our mind and expand our heart.

Pema Dragpa, whose name means “renowned compassion” has a gift of making complex ideas and practices simple, and is relaxed and very open to discussion.

Dragpa has worked closely with the “Khenpos”, two extraordinary Tibetan Buddhist monks, and has served as editor of over 17 of their publications.

The evening begins with a spaghetti dinner at the church, which is near Francis Slocum State Park, at 5:30 PM and the seminar starts at 7 PM.

If you plan on attending the dinner, please RSVP to anerozzi@aol.com.

If attending the seminar only, RSVP is appreciated.

I hope you are available to attend this event.
