Coats for the Community

FOREST CITY — Christ Episcopal Church, located at Delaware & Dundaff Streets, will hold its annual Coats for the Community distribution event on Thursday-Friday, November 3rd and 4th, from Noon-3:00pm; and again on Saturday November 5th, from 1:00-4:00pm.
Children’s and adult-sized coats will be available and are FREE to all who come; there will be no questions asked and no qualifications are required to benefit from this event. All of these coats have been provided by the American Legion Post 154 in Montrose, by the congregation of Christ Church, and from donations of friends throughout the greater Forest City area. Church members and friends will assist those who are looking for new and/or gently-used coats, hats, gloves, and scarves.
Additional donations of winter coats and accessories are always welcome. All coats must be clean and serviceable. Monetary support for this program may be made payable to ‘Coats for the Community’ and mailed directly to the American Legion Post 154, 14515 State Route 2001, Montrose PA 18801.
