MVGC Event – Local artist Joe Kluck doing a demonstration called “Paint your Garden”

The Mountain View Garden Club will meet at the Clifford Fire Hall on May 17 at 7pm. Local artist Joe Kluck will be doing a demonstration called “Paint your Garden”. The public is invited.
The garden club presents a $500 scholarship to a deserving senior from both Forest City and Mountain View High Schools who are pursuing a degree related to the environment, land, plants or ecology. For a copy of the scholarship application, go to mountainviewgardenclub.org.
The 12th annual Plant Exchange & Marketplace will take place on June 5 at the Clifford Picnic Grounds. The Marketplace will be held from 11:30 til 3 featuring local artisans, refreshments and music.
The Plant Exchange & Sale will be held from 1 til 3 at which time you may purchase perennials grown in local gardens or you have the option of exchanging two perennials from your garden for two plants of like size or value.
