Trees ‘N Town Winterfest 2014 in Forest City

Trees ‘N Town Winterfest 2014, sponsored by the Greater Forest City Business Alliance and the Forest City Historical Society, will be held on Saturday, December 13, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Food, Fun and Festivities will take place on the tree lined Main Street. There will be carriage rides, photos with Santa, and vendors. The tree lighting will take place at 6 p.m. across from Borough Building.
The Historical Society will host ‘Christmas at the Museum’, featuring an antique Christmas exhibit. Luminary memorials, in memory of loved ones, will be lit at dusk. Cookbooks, homemade jams and jellies, and other stocking stuffers will be for sale. There will be Christmas folklore storytelling, Email Santa, and a kids craft table. The Family Photo Booth will give families an opportunity to have their Christmas keepsake picture taken. The Cornerstone Bible Church Band will present a Christmas musical show at 6:30 p.m. in the Historical Society Building,
During 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., the GFCBA will host a Gift Certificate Sale at Studio 511, 511 Main Street. The following GFCBA member businesses will have certificates for sale: Elegante, Kost Tire, M & M Auto, Russo’s, Zazzera’s Supermarket, Alpha Chiropractic, Forest City News, Studio Be., Studio 511, Hornbeck’s and Red Cross Pharmacy.
